Waiting for our flight out of Chicago. Annelise was such a trooper! She loved all the planes.
Here we are on the Santa Monica Pier. My dad is behind the camera - and the weird guy in the back is one of our board members. It was such a fun day!
Here we all are on the pier - Santa Monica in the background. A little chilly, but so fun!
Matt and Annelise by the elephants at the Santa Barbara Zoo.
All of these pictures were taken on our camera phones, because I forgot the camera. Yes, I'm a loser. That would be another one of my pregnancy symptoms. I do have an awesome video of Annelise feeding the giraffes. But, its on my dad's blackberry, so as soon as we get it, I'll upload.
Nonetheless, we're thrilled to be home and are now gearing up for our next trip - Costa Rica!

Hey, we've been to that zoo. They have the giraffe with the crooked neck, right? Aaron and Maria Williams (Lee's roommate from Moody) were married there. We never got to actually see many animals. Looks like you had a great trip. Annelise is looking like such a big girl! I can't believe it!
Hope you're feeling better. Been praying for you!
Not sure when a trip to MI is in the works for us! Hopefully we'll get there at least once before baby #2 is born! We miss you guys too!
i didn't notice a crooked neck, but then again, i'm not always that observant. isn't it a beautiful zoo?
thanks for the prayers. i'm almost 12 weeks, so hopefully i'll be through the sickness soon!
hope you're doing well!
So glad you had a good time and were able to relax some! So good to see you guys last week! We need to get together again for real some time!
Aaaahhhh. California. I could go for a trip to California right about now. Or Costa Rica. You know .. I'm flexible.
Glad you had a fun time!
We had our engagement photos on Ventura beach! Annelise looks like she enjoyed the sun and fun of CA! Costa Rica? What are you, made of money? ; )
steph - not made of money. actually both trips are somewhat paid for. california was a work trip for me, so we just paid for matt's flight and a few meals. and costa rica is a mission trip. can't say we're suffering though. :)
