I love my daddy

Annelise is going through a phase.  And  I don't like it!  She loves Matt - she hates me.  Ok, that might be a little extreme.  She probably doesn't hate me, but she sure acts like it!  Each day when Matt gets home, she puts on this attitude that says "forget you mommy, my daddy's home."  So, I've decided to go with the flow, instead of fighting it.  Hopefully she'll grow out of it and decide she loves both of her parents.  Here she is, readily giving kisses to daddy after a long day at work.

And I would really rob you of a good laugh if I didn't tell you about our crazy night.  First, I couldn't pass up this photo.  Annelise was doing a little "bootie dance" during American Idol. Not sure where she learned that, but her pants were falling off her bottom and it was too cute.

Last, but not least.  I heard a few subtle cries, followed by blood curdling screams.  The problem?  I couldn't find her!  After a few short seconds of an unwanted game of hide 'n seek, I found my trapped peanut.  I guess she wanted to sit in her bumbo seat, UNDER the high chair. Oh what a terrible mommy I am.  Taking pictures while my sweet baby is reaching for me.

Hope you all enjoy your Friday!  I am thrilled for the weekend.  We're in desperate need of some family time and plan to use the coupons we received from Quizno's Million Sub Giveaway for lunch tomorrow.  Oh - and we will also be seeing that sweet, baby girl, Alayna - at home. Life is good.

I think bad mommies are funny. Also, your sister stole my baby! That's exactly what I want my baby to look like - with all that black hair (like his dad)! Except it needs to be a boy, so I guess that would be a problem. Ok, she can keep it, but I'm jealous. That kid is gorgeous! And she looks great!

You not a bad Mommy. You're "saving memories". That is so cute though. I love the sag. He skinny little bootie can't keep up the pants while she gets down.

By the way, I showed Evan Anne's pictures and he leaned forward to give the picture a hug. We need to come over and play.

Forrest is the same way about Noah! In fact this summer and fall, I was chopped liver...even now, every time I get him up, his first question is "Daddy?" I am so thankful he has such a good daddy...and Anne does too!

She is too funny, getting stuck in the bumbo...Forrest doesn't like our because that's what I use to give him a haircut...every time he sees it he say "No haircut!"

Oh man. Jacob's ideal world is one in which only he and Ben live in alone. Eli can come, too. But only because he's a boy. Libby is mostly a mama's girl, but every once in awhile, she looks at me like she has no idea and wails, "I need my papa!" Even Eli's whole face lights up when he sees Ben.

Maybe it's because they spend so much time with us? In our case, Ben is much more fun than I am, so when he comes home, all kinds of fun things begin.

She's a doll.
Have a great weekend!

Isabel loves her daddy too. She will always give him unsolicited "whuv u's" and kisses. However, recently when she is crying from her crib, it's mommy she cries for (mommy, mommy, mommy)...sometimes annoying, but it makes me feel special!!:)

Take advantage of the Daddy time...do something for yourself. Although Wyatt is mostly a daddy's boy and I do get a little jealous.

Yes, I know what you're talking about. RIght now Abby (2) thinks my name is Mean Mommy or Big Butt Mommy. I don't think my rear is that big, but apparently she knows it cuts right to the quick when she says it.
I like that Anne like American Idol. :)
