Picnik

I want to highly recommend to you the site www.picnik.com.  Its the best online photo editing tool I have used in a long time!  I have Adobe Photoshop for work - a $600 program - and would say that this is the best amateur software I've seen that compares.  In fact, within 5 minutes today, I uploaded and designed this photo of Annelise.  Try it out!

OK, I'm apparently a little slow. I poked around for a while and although I found the black & white tool, I didn't see any options for reproducing the effect you did. I know how I'd do it in Photoshop, but I'm missing something in Picnik.

ok, well i was a little unfair on this one. my sister has a canon power shot camera and it has the color effect on it. sorry! but you can still make pretty cool photos on there. :)

I'll check it out. We have Photoshop, but I'm a little dull when it comes to .. um .. technology. Thanks for the link.

OK, I don't feel so bad now. It looks like a pretty cool tool. Even if you have Photoshop or something else, if you need to tweak a photo while you're on another computer this is a great tool.

As a side note, Picasa is a great tool by Google that lets you organize, edit and do all sorts of other things with your photos. I used to be a Photoshop snob when it came to editing pictures, but I now use Picasa most stuff.
