She's Here!!!

Yeah! (this is dad by the way...)
Rah and I are the new proud parents of a gorgeous (looks like daddy) baby girl. Annelise Louise Neal, 6 lbs. 13 oz. 20 inches.  Rachael had some complications and had to deliver by C-Section. Baby is healthy, mom is recovering well and will update you blogger-dudes when she's up for it. I am a new dad and I love it! There's nothin' like holding your own child! Photos to come...

I've been at Pam's house this evening and we kept checking your blog. Our prayers & yours were answered. Congratulations to all of you! A beautiful name and on the 18th - how precious. Congratulations to grandma & grandpa too!
I, too, had a c-section & just praise God we live in the time when they can deliver a baby like that!
Very anxious to see pictures of that beauty.

For those of you non-family members, the middle name "Louise" is significant because this was Rachael's grandmother name - Annelise was born on her birthday (grandma passed away 8 yrs ago). When we found out she was coming on the 18th we made the change from "Rose" to her name "Louise" as her middle name.

Mom is doing great! We have to stay in the hospital until Monday, which is normal for C-Section recovery. Keep praying for us and thanks for caring!!!
