Day Two

I made it through yesterday without a glitch.

Ok, that's a lie.  I was totally exhausted by the time Matt got home.  And now I'm officially scared to death to have two children - and work from home.

I realize being pregnant - 33 weeks pregnant - adds a lot to the situation.  I have Alayna again today.  She's usually a dream.  But today, not so much.  I love her, but she's constipated, tired and I think she misses her mommy.  Add to that a 19 month old who wants to "help" constantly.

Yeah, I think I'm not getting much work done today.

Come swiftly Lord.

Seriously, We need to live closer...you need a Hannah. But...alas we don't, so I will pray that Alayna poops, naps and Annelise is a real help.

You will figure it out friend! And remember that whole maternity leave thing! You will get your wits about you and fall into a new normal. And yes, you will still be exhausted at the end of the day, but it's just a season. Hang in there! Leah will be back soon.

you're going to do just fine with two. and you're totally right - it's not fair to judge your abilities at handling two when you're pregnant. and when one of the little ones isn't your own. it's totally different when it's your own kiddo.

thanks for the encouragement ladies. i don't know what it is...but two today was a little tiring. Jason came to pick Alayna up and things are a bit back to normal. Minus the fact that I still have a very active, somewhat disobedient 19 month old. But who doesn't, right?

Looking forward to my new little one being...well little for a while. I hated it that Annelise slept 20 hours a day when she was born. I don't think I'll hate it with this one. :)

i lOVE the video of Alayna and Anna. They so do love each other just as your new one and Anna will. Ty sometimes loves Wyatt too much!
I, like Pam wish we lived closer so we could take care of the little ones for you.
Wait till you see my new grand-daughter. All she does is sleep at this time. Your time is comming!

Love,
Aunt Suzie

Yes, although you'll still be tired watching kiddos after baby #2 arrives, it is so much nicer not being pregnant AND watching them!

You're doing great!
