Update

Wow - two posts in one morning.  Something MUST be happening...

Doctor called this morning.  After reviewing my chart again, she does not want to wait until next week to deliver.  High blood pressure is too risky and she doesn't want an emergent situation.  So, we're scheduled to have a baby on Friday morning at 7:30 am via c-section.

You know what that means?

I can do my hair and makeup before the surgery and look better than I did the first time!

Just kidding.  Kind of.

I'm sorry to hear about your high bp, but we just want a healthy baby and mom! Just a couple days, how exciting!
Hair and makeup, you are too funny. :)

How fun! I love the idea of having new baby pics not looking like you've just run a marathon. Not that I have any experience with that, but I'll live vicariously through you. Can't wait to see her!!!

Go enjoy your last two days with Annelise and Matt. Have dinner out, do your toes and rest up for the big day :) If you lived closer, I'd invite you to coffee.

Congrats early! I had the same excitement when we decided to do the second c section, then when I did the pre registering for the surgery they informed me I was not allowed to wear makeup! Glad you are allowed to. BTW second c section recovery is so much easier, it will be night and day difference. We will pray for you guys!

The Goal of all this is a healthy mom and baby, so way to go! I have thought about a scheduled c section when we have another one and how that would be nice, no days and days of labor and then surgery. Can't wait to see photos of her!

I'm really excited for you guys! And yes - there is something very wonderful about being able to prepare in the exact way you want to with a scheduled c-section. Ben was looking at me like I was a crazy woman the night before I had Eli. I was running around doing all of the last minute things that I wanted to be just right for when we came home - which included vacuuming the floors at midnight. Enjoy your last couple of days of just the three of you and your new life as a mom of two! :)

Looks as if God answered your prayers and seems as if you have peace about it too! We'll be praying for you! Wish we could make a trip up to MI to meet Elliora! Soon maybe soon!:) Can't wait to meet her and see pictures!
